PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARIS

KIDO SAFARIS is situated in the heart of Zululand Rhino Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, Mkuze, South Africa. Our reserve hosts endangered species such as black rhino, cheetah, bird species, butterflies as well as the big five and plains game that naturally occurred in our area. The mission and objectives of the Zululand Rhino Reserve is to actively conserve the biodiversity of the reserve, including the landscapes, ecosystems and processes upon which biodiversity depends.

As part of the WWF Black Rhino range expansion we introduced 27 of these highly endangered animals into our reserve, which are available for viewing to the public by our team of black rhino trackers.

Kido Safaris’ tours are tailor made to meet each client’s individual requirements. Smaller groups only, for maximum personal attention (2-8 persons). Your safari and all the additional excursions that are available will be fully guided by qualified rangers who will ensure that you enjoy every moment.

Your package will include three meals per day, South African style. You will never go hungry and will enjoy every bite that is carefully prepared by our cooks. Your local travel agent can book your flight to Johannesburg continuing on to Richards Bay or Durban where you will be met by us and transported to the reserve.

Our summer season is from September to April and the average temperature that can be expected is 60 – 90F. Our winter season is from May to August with the average expected temperature of 32 – 70F.
